Studio Photography
Studio photography is where you set up a place to take photographs using lights. Studio setups include a backdrop, soft box, umbrella light, tripod, and of course a camera! The soft box provides a hint of soft light which gives a nice ambience. The umbrella light connects the camera and when the capture button is pressed the umbrella light flashes. You can adjust the brightness of the soft box and umbrella light. The tripod helps to keep the camera still and is good as you can adjust the position. The backdrop is a material at the back which acts as a background and helps the mood.
These image shows how exposed the photos are.

The photos demonstrate the feelings of the individuals. In my opinion I generally like how his photography can help the viewers to see the peoples emotions to come through, although after a while some of the photos may begin to look very similar or boring.

These are some examples of Richard Avedon's photography. I like the different ways he has captured the clothes and he has a lot of creative ideas for the poses of the models- I like some of them as they are quite unusual.
