Focus
Since the introduction of auto focus as a standard feature in consumer cameras, it is no longer a difficulty to get the main subject in the middle of the frame sharp and neat even if the object is moving at great speed. The introduction of auto focus also meant that many photographers started to put the subject in the middle of the frame as the focus would work best there. Focus helps to attract attention immediately and that is where the viewer look first. Having a focused area and then a blurred area can create a nice effect. In simpler words focus is the technical sharpness in a image often used to direct the viewer’s attention.
